A determined young lady named Emmanuella Ofili has achieved exceptional success, rewriting her academic path and eventually earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree with First Class Honours from Delta State University.
Her journey is a powerful story of resilience, clarity, and the courage to start again in pursuit of a greater goal.
Emmanuella's Story and How She Did It
Emmanuella’s university journey did not begin in Pharmacy. In 2019, she initially gained admission to study Human Anatomy.
Within her first year, she performed well academically, recording a CGPA of 3.54. However, despite her performance, she realized that the course was not aligned with her true passion.
Faced with this realization, she made a bold and difficult decision, to start over completely. She dropped out, rewrote the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (JAMB), and set her sights on studying Pharmacy.
This phase of her journey was far from easy. Along the way, she experienced setbacks, including delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. She also faced personal struggles, losing friendships and battling moments of self-doubt and low confidence.

Yet, she refused to give up. After successfully securing admission again into Delta State University, this time to study Pharmacy,Emmanuella committed herself fully to her new path.
Over the years, she demonstrated consistency, discipline, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Her academic journey spanned seven years, but through perseverance and hard work, she rose above every challenge. In the end, she graduated with a remarkable CGPA of 4.57, earning First Class Honours and being inducted as a qualified pharmacist.
What makes her achievement even more outstanding is that she accomplished this while running a full-time business, balancing academics with entrepreneurship, a true mark of discipline and time management.
Reflecting on her journey, Emmanuella shared that there was a time she felt stagnant and unsure of her path. However, she remained steadfast, trusting the process and pushing forward despite the odds.
