A brilliant young girl named Sienna Jones has achieved an extraordinary academic milestone after gaining admission into five Ivy League universities in the United States at the same time.
Sienna’s achievement has drawn attention for the level of academic excellence, leadership, and consistency it took to earn admission offers from some of the most competitive universities in the world.
Sienna's Story and How She Did It
A senior at Masuk High School, Sienna applied to 28 universities during her college application process, including all eight Ivy League schools.
Out of those applications, she earned admission into Harvard University, Cornell University, Columbia University, Brown University, and University of Pennsylvania.
Beyond the Ivy League schools, she was also accepted into other highly selective institutions including Stanford University and Georgetown University.
Her journey to achieving these admissions was built on years of hard work, discipline, and active involvement in both academics and extracurricular activities throughout high school.

Sienna immersed herself deeply in school life from her freshman year. One of the most surprising parts of her story was joining her school’s swim team despite never having swum before.
Through determination and consistent effort, she eventually became a varsity swimmer for all four years and later rose to become team captain in her senior year. Outside sports, she also developed herself creatively and academically.
She is a piano player, president of her school’s psychology club, and a leader within the honors society. Alongside these responsibilities, she also worked as a lifeguard while balancing demanding academic work.
Reflecting on the pressure of managing school, leadership, extracurricular activities, and work, Sienna admitted the journey was not always easy. There were nights she had to work and still return home to complete hours of homework afterward.
Her teachers and mentors described her as a hardworking and collaborative student who consistently helped others succeed.
Susan Clark, one of her history teachers who taught her for two years, praised her ability to contribute positively in group settings and highlighted her strong work ethic and leadership qualities.
Her guidance counselor, Penny Ploski, who worked with her throughout high school, also noted how much Sienna grew in confidence and leadership during her four years at Masuk High School.
Despite her accomplishments, Sienna admitted she initially applied to 28 schools because she was nervous she might not get the results she hoped for, making the final admissions outcomes even more surprising for her.
After reviewing her options, Sienna eventually committed to attending Harvard University, where she plans to begin preparing for a future career in law.
Beyond academics, she also expressed excitement about experiencing life in Boston, having lived in Monroe, Connecticut, her entire life.
As she prepares for her next chapter, Sienna is expected to visit Harvard for the first time to get familiar with what will soon become her new home.
