A brilliant young woman named Khadijah Adisa, has achieved remarkable academic success after graduating with a First-Class degree in Cybersecurity from Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin Nigeria.
Her outstanding performance earned her recognition as the Best Graduating Student in her programme, as well as one of the top students in the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Technology.
Khadijah's Story and How She Did It
Khadijah began her academic journey in 2021 with a clear goal, to excel and make a meaningful impact. Over the course of four years, she remained consistent, disciplined, and focused on her studies while actively building her personal and professional skills.
Her excellence did not go unnoticed. By 2025, she graduated with distinction, emerging as Best Graduating Student in her department and Overall Third Best Graduating Student in her Faculty.
What makes her journey truly inspiring is that she did not limit herself to academic performance alone. Khadijah intentionally focused on growth and impact, balancing her studies with leadership and real-world experience.

Throughout her time in school, she led a student community, volunteered and organized events, including one with over 500 attendees.
Also, she completed a paid cybersecurity training program with an internship, which she secured through attending an industry conference and she anaged all these responsibilities while maintaining academic excellence.
Reflecting on her journey, she emphasized that success is not only about grades but also about the process of becoming. “I didn’t focus on grades alone, I focused on growth and impact,” she wrote on Linkedin.
She also noted that some achievements do not feel real immediately, but become meaningful when one pauses to reflect on the journey, the discipline, and the consistency it took to get there.
Khadijah expressed deep gratitude for the experiences, lessons, and support system that shaped her, describing her graduation as both a celebration of academic excellence and a reminder of the discipline, consistency, and faith that carried her through.
