A brilliant Nigerian lady named Temiloluwa Olabisi has achieved remarkable academic success after earning her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Ibadan.
She graduated with a Second Class Upper Honours and emerged as the Best Graduating Female Student in her department, a testament to her consistency, hard work, and dedication throughout her academic journey.
Temiloluwa's Story and How She Did It
Temiloluwa began her university journey in 2019, and over the years, she built a strong record of excellence while navigating the demanding nature of engineering studies. Her time at the university was not just about academics, it was also about growth, leadership, and impact.
Beyond the classroom, she actively participated in student communities and took on key leadership roles, including serving as: Chair, IEEE Women in Engineering, UI Student Branch (2024/2025) and Vice Chair for the organisation. (2023/2024)
She also served as the Treasurer (2022/2023), and Organizing Secretary, Winners Campus Fellowship, UI (2024/2025)
Her contributions and performance earned her notable recognitions, including the Dean’s Honour Award (2024/2025) alongside her departmental award.
As part of her professional journey, she was also inducted into the Nigerian Society of Engineers as a Graduate Member (GMNSE), a major milestone that marks her transition into the engineering profession.
