This young Lady graduated with a first-class bachelors degree in Sports science, fulfills her father’s dream

A brilliant Nigerian lady named Woke Obinuchi Miracle has graduated with a First-Class Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT), Nigeria.

With her accomplishment, Woke achieved a milestone that fulfilled a dream her father had long envisioned for her.

Her achievement is a testament to academic excellence, perseverance, faith, and the unwavering support of her family. What makes the accomplishment even more special is that it represents the realization of a dream she once doubted she could achieve herself.

Woke's Story and How She Did It

Woke began her academic journey at the University of Port Harcourt in 2022 when she enrolled in the Department of Sports and Exercise Science, formerly known as Human Kinetics.

Throughout her years of study, she remained committed to her coursework and continuously worked towards excellence. However, despite her strong academic performance, she admitted that she never fully believed she would eventually graduate with a First-Class degree.

At one point, her father shared a dream with her, telling her that he had seen her graduating with a First Class. While she appreciated his confidence in her abilities, she was not entirely convinced.

Woke believed only partly in the possibility and told her father that although she would do her best, she expected to graduate with a Second Class Upper division at most. Yet her father never stopped believing.

As the years passed, she continued to put in the work, staying focused on her studies and determined to make the most of her university experience. Through dedication, discipline, and consistency, she gradually built an impressive academic record.

Then came the moment that changed everything. In 2026, Woke graduated with First-Class honours, turning what once seemed like an unlikely dream into reality.

Sharing her sucess on Facebook, she described her academic success as the result of God’s grace and the unwavering support of her family.

She explained that her family served as her inspiration, motivation, and source of strength throughout her journey. According to her, family is not limited to blood relations but also includes everyone who genuinely supports, encourages, and believes in another person’s success.

Reflecting on her achievement, she expressed gratitude to all those who inspired her, prayed for her, and supported her academic journey.

She also shared how emotional it was to realize that she had made her parents proud, especially after remembering her father’s words years earlier.

Looking back, Woke recalled how he had confidently predicted that she would graduate with a First Class while she remained unsure of the outcome. Today, that prediction has become reality.

Woke also paid tribute to her parents for the sacrifices they made to ensure she had a smooth and successful university experience. She acknowledged their constant prayers, encouragement, and commitment to her education, describing them as a major reason for her success.

She added that every conversation with her parents often ended in prayer and encouragement, providing the support she needed during difficult moments.

Beyond academics, Woke emphasized the importance of staying focused on one’s goals. She explained that one of the habits that contributed most to her success was never losing sight of where she came from and where she wanted to go.

That mindset, Woke said, motivated her to push beyond average expectations and continually strive for excellence.
