A brilliant young man named David Akindolire has achieved remarkable success, earning a first-class degree in Law and building a legal career across both Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
His story is a powerful reminder that with excellence, consistency, and the right opportunities, it is possible to build a global career.
David's Story and How He Did It
David began his academic journey at Obafemi Awolowo University, where he studied Law and graduated in 2019 with a first-class degree.
His outstanding performance placed him among the top students in his class, and he was awarded the Second Best Graduating Student in his faculty.
During his time at university, David was not only academically excellent but also actively involved in extracurricular activities. He participated in debates, moots, and mock trials, while also working as a freelance writer and event compere.
He co-founded several student organizations, including the Tax Club and the ADR Society, all aimed at improving student development and career readiness.

After completing his undergraduate studies, he proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, where he underwent the mandatory professional training. In 2020, he was called to the Nigerian Bar, officially qualifying as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Following this, David gained valuable professional experience working with top firms, including KPMG Nigeria, Banwo & Ighodalo, Olaniwun Ajayi, and PwC Nigeria. He later joined Olaniwun Ajayi as an Associate, where he built hands-on experience in legal practice for two years.
In 2024, he moved to the United Kingdom to further his career and joined Linklaters in London as a Trainee Solicitor.
Through dedication and rigorous training, David successfully passed both stages of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE1 and SQE2), completed his qualifying work experience, and met all regulatory requirements.
He has now officially qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales, adding to his legal qualification in Nigeria. After completing his training contract, he rejoined Linklaters as an Associate in the Banking Team, marking another major milestone in his journey.
Reflecting on his success, David expressed deep gratitude to his family, mentors, and colleagues who supported him along the way.
