A brilliant young man named Oluwatobiloba Falokun has achieved an extraordinary academic milestone, graduating as a medical doctor with 11 distinctions out of 12 courses from Obafemi Awolowo University.
His outstanding performance placed him among the joint highest-performing students in his class, a rare feat in the demanding field of Medicine.

Oluwatobiloba's Story and How She Did It
He began his academic journey at OAU in 2018, fully committed to excelling not just in his studies but also in extracurricular activities.
Over the years, he maintained an exceptional academic record, earning distinctions in almost all major medical courses, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Paediatrics, Dermatology, Mental Health, Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Community Health.
He also stood out in specific areas, emerging as the Best Student in Physiology and recording the overall highest score in Dermatology.
Despite the intense nature of medical school, Oluwatobiloba remained actively involved in student leadership and academic development.
He served as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the IFUMSA Quiz and Debate Club, participated in numerous national and international medical competitions, and held key roles in student bodies such as the Nigerian Medical Students’ Association (NiMSA).
Oluwatobiloba’s journey, which he describes as long and strenuous, was marked by resilience and a commitment to growth.
Through late nights, constant assessments, and the pressure of clinical training, he stayed focused on his goal, and it paid off remarkably. Reflecting on his achievement, Oluwatobiloba attributes his success to grace, hard work, and consistency.
