TotalEnergies (formely Total Plc), one of the leading Oil and Gas multinational company in the world has announced that it will support African Entrepreneurs with series of awards including cash grants through the 2022 Startupper Challenge.
The TotalEnergies Startupper Challenge is aimed at supporting young African entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 35. The 2022 edition of this program will be the 3rd edition of the Award across 32 countries in Africa.
According to TotalEnergies, all business creation’s project holders and young innovative startups with a positive impact on their communities and the planet are eligible to participate.
Countries including Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania, Tunisia from North Africa, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Senegal, Togo from West Africa are eligible to receive the award.
Cameroon, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo from Central Africa, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Reunion Island-Mayotte Island, Madagascar, Uganda, Tanzania from East Africa, and South Africa, Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe from Austral Africa are also eligible.
The prizes for this award is slated to be in three categories including: The best business creation project, The best startup under 3 years old and The best female entrepreneur.
Financial Support, Cash Prizes Coaching, Media Visibilty and many other benefits are set to be awarded. Application for this award closes by December 23, 2021.
