Twin Brothers wins full scholarship to MIT, emerges US high school’s best-graduating students

Twin Brothers. Miles and Malik George have been awarded a full scholarship to study for their bachelor’s degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology after they graduated as the overall best-graduating students of Woodbridge High School in New Jersey, United States.

The George twins are African-Americans who both demonstrated academic excellence throughout high school. They graduated with the highest grade points in their set earning them the title of Co-valedictorian of their set.

The twins also achieved near-perfect SAT scores and maintained a stellar academic record with A-plus grade averages. The George brothers’s exceptional performance earned them a full scholarship to the renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology, United States.

While at Woodbridge High School, they were involved in different extracurricular activities and served in leadership roles in organizations such as Nu Delta Fraternity, The Standard, and Laureates and Leaders reflecting their commitment to diversity and inclusion on campus.

The twins mentioned that they not only won scholarships to MIT, but they also won scholarships from five other prestigious universities, including Harvard, but they chose MIT because it is their dream school.

The George brothers stated that they would major in Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. They said their decision reflects their shared aspiration and passion for science research and innovation in the field.

They attributed their success to the support and guidance of their parents who instilled in them a strong work ethic and a passion for education. The twins said from a young age, they were encouraged to explore their interests and strive for excellence in all endeavors.


Malik and Miles stated that as they embark on their journey to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, they are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead of them. They added that they remain grounded by their strong family ties and cherish the moments spent with their parents and beloved pet Shy.

They added that they look forward to involving themselves in the academic community at MIT and contributing to groundbreaking research initiatives aimed at addressing global challenges such as climate change.

Beyond their academic pursuits, the George twins are avid gamers, comic book enthusiasts, and avid supporters of STEM education. They stated that they are committed to using their platform to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.
