AMERICA | Twin sisters named Denisha and Destiny Caldwell have emerged as Scotlandville Magnet High School best graduating student. Their outstanding achievement earned them 24 million dollars worth of scholarships to study in the university.
Destiny graduated as her school’s valedictorian with a 4.00 Grade Point Average, while Denisha is the salutatorian with a 3.95 Grade Point Average.
Initially, the identical twins were competitors, but along the line they began to collaborate to achieve greatness together.
”In the end we said, Let’s just work together and end at the top, It’s an unbreakable bond. Once you see, me you know you’re going to see Destiny, ”Denisha said. “There’s no separation between us, we are two hearts apart,” Destiny added.

While in school, the twin sisters were involved in different extracurricular activities including competitive dance, and the Stanford University emergency medicine program, and were interns at the Artz Performance Academy.
They also did community service for the Butterfly Society, an organization that assists domestic violence survivors. Denisha enjoys writing, robotics, and solving puzzles, and Destiny enjoys math, community service duties, and dancing for fun.
They attributed their success to their parents, regarding them as their motivation. Destiny advised rising students to never relent and make the sky their limit. Denisha advised them to focus on positivity.
“Achieve everything you want to accomplish and accomplish everything you want to achieve, Destiny said.
”Don’t allow negativity to break you down. Use it as motivation, use everything as a positive,” Denisha said.
They will both attend the University of California in Los Angeles, where they will major in math and science to enable them to pursue their careers in medical science in the future.
In a similar story, twin sisters named La’nisha and Ron’nisha Richardson have emerged as Yazoo City High School’s best graduating students after scoring a 4.10 grade point average.
La’nisha and Ron’nisha Richardson are twins from Mississippi who graduated from Yazoo City High School. They won the award of the Valedictorian and Salutatorian of their school after they scored the highest grade point.
Speaking on their achievement, the twins told BOTWC that this is the moment they have been waiting for as it serves as the official confirmation of all their hard work.
“I actually have a goals list and on the top of that list it says ‘valedictorian of Class of 2020,’ so it was always in my head,” La’nisha said. The twins attributed their success to their mother for always encouraging them to work hard.
