Applications are invited from qualified PhD and MSc students for Research Assistantship positions at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
The research project will focus on Professional Personhood among Africa’s Paradoxically Surplus Health Workers and carried out at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
The project is exploring mixed methods approach to explore socio-cultural and political economic dimensions of this paradox in Nigeria, Zambia, and Uganda.

- be a prospective student or be currently enrolled in Medical Anthropology, Sociology, Demography, Public Health, Health Policy, Health Systems, Development Systems, or a related discipline,

- Show good communication and organizational skills.
- Have experience in research data collection and analysis.
PhD
- be a prospective student or be currently enrolled in Medical Anthropology, Sociology, Demography, Public Health, Health Policy, Health Systems, Development Systems, or a related discipline,
- Demonstrate interests in health systems, health workforce research, labour studies, sociology of professions, or related disciplines.
- Have experience in qualitative research methods.
- Have experience with Vivo, Atlas.ti, SPSS, Stata or other analytical software.
