Dr. Joshua Banta’s lab at the University of Texas at Tyler is recruiting a fully funded Biology MS graduate student to begin THIS FALL (2026).
The University of Texas at Tyler (uttyler.edu) is a growing institution that is part of the prestigious University of Texas system. The city of Tyler is the economic and educational hub of northeast Texas, with almost half a million people in the combined Tyler-Longview metropolitan area.
This position includes field work on snakes during the summer months. The duration of the program is four semesters, beginning mid-August 2026 and ending in late-May 2028 with thesis defense and graduation.
