The Women Techsters Initiative is Africa’s largest women-in-tech tuition-free program aimed at bridging the digital technology knowledge divide between men and women across low-income communities in Africa, with the goal of ensuring women have equal access to better opportunities.
The objective of the Women Techsters Bootcamp is to grow and support an army of tech-empowered girls and women across Africa who have equal access to decent jobs and can scale their ideas into tech-enabled businesses and deep tech startups to foster economic growth across Africa. To enable girls and women gain access to decent jobs within the technology ecosystem, the following are the learning tracks:
To be considered for the Women Techsters Bootcamp:
Applicants are required to have an active Microsoft Outlook E-mail Address (existing or new) and at least Windows 8 functional laptop.
The Scholarship period will run for 3 weeks virtual training
To apply for the Women Techsters Bootcamp, interested and qualified applicants should use the “CLICK HERE TO APPLY” button to proceed to the application page.
In the course of the selection process, all successful applicants would be required to have an active Microsoft outlook email account, (existing or new). Go to account.microsoft.com, select Sign in, and then choose Create one. Do not click on “use a phone number or get new email address”. Only Functional Outlook address provided will be used as entry into the learning channel at the second stage process.
