Young African graduates celebrate their uneducated parents for working hard to ensure their children are educated

Two young South African ladies have expressed gratitude to their parents for working hard throughout their lifetime to ensure they both get educated.

Nancy Ouma Anchie Ndlovu, one of two young ladies shared their gratitude through her Linkedin, noting that despite the fact that her parents have no academic qualifications, they they worked hard and made sure that all their children including herself are qualified and educated.

Nancy alongside her sister recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Operations Management, Engineering Management, Quality and Operations Management from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa.

By celebrating their parent, they adored both their father and mother with their graduation gowns and asked them to hold their certificates, indicating they own the success.

Nancy’s celebration with her parent got the attention of many who sent congratulatory messages to both the children and the parents. Getting the appropriate education requires huge funding in fees and other living expenses.

Nancy also described her parents as good black people, noting that their dedication to ensuring they succeed in the university shows black power.

“What an honour! My parents both have no academic qualification but they worked hard and made sure that all of us are qualified and educated. Never underestimate the power of a black hard working parent,” she wrote on Linkedin.
