Young African Lady graduates as an Economist with 94% grade, wins best student award

A brilliant Nigerian Lady named Ayobola Makinde has won the best graduating student award of School of Science and Technology after earning an outstanding 4.74 grade points out of a possible 5.00 CGPA.

Ayobola Makinde’s 4.74 grade (94.4%) earned her a first-class Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Babcock University, South-West, Nigeria. She announced and celebrated her achievement on LinkedIn.

She said her achievements were made possible by God as she had only a few sleepless nights while in school. “I say this because the story of achievement is not like many others in its category,” she stated.

“Until my final year, I had very few stories of sleepless nights, or tireless study or library visits; all I had and still have is God’s grace and nothing else,” she added. Ayobola explained further that she was just like every other student in the school and started reading the week before the exams.

“I went to class, and wrote my notes, and started reading the week just before exams, or even the night before, but God carried me to this place still,” she explained.

She admonishes upcoming scholars to chart their own path to achieve success and always aspire for more. “ASPIRE FOR MORE! You are capable of doing so much more,” she said.
