Young African man finally bags bachelors degree at South African University after studying for 9 years instead of 6, celebrates achievements

A young African man named Tebogo Pancho has finally graduated from the University of South Africa, Pretoria with a bachelor’s degree after studying for ten years instead of the normal four-year duration.

Tebogo obtained his bachelor’s degree in Commerce with a specialization in Marketing at the University of South Africa, Pretoria. He shared the achievement on his Twitter celebrating his success if finally graduating.

He mentioned that his academic journey, which should have taken four years, actually took him ten years to complete his degree.

”It was quite a journey, what was supposed to be a 4 year degree to complete It took 10 years to complete but today we are making it official all I can say is that I made it,” Tebogo wrote on Twitter.

Tebogo expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to his academic journey and everyone who supported him.


In another story, a young lady named Bukunmi Kolawole has finally been called to the bar as a first-class Lawyer after studying for 9 years straight instead of 6.

Bukunmi obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria with first-class honors before she proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where she was called to bar as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

She graduated from the Nigerian Law School with a first-class grade. Bukunmi celebrated her achievement on LinkedIn, stating that her call to the bar signifies the completion of a 9-year journey that should have taken 6 years.

Bukunmi stated that throughout her university years, she embraced opportunities beyond the classroom adding that she involved herself in student organizations and at the same time explored the city of Ibadan. Read more about Bukunmi HERE.
