A young African man named Daniel Mutia has bagged an 100% distinction Masters degree in Energy Systems from the Oxford University after winning a scholarship.
Daniel Mutia obtained his bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in United Kingdom with a first-class honors.
Daniel remained consistent in his academic excellence. Now he has obtained his masters degree with a distinction from Oxford University in the United Kingdom. He said he bagged both his bachelors and masters degree with a scholarship.
For his Bachelors degree, he applied for the Master Card Foundation scholar (MCFS) scholarship countless times before he was finally awarded the scholarship to study Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.
While an undergraduate at University of Edinburgh, Daniel said he heard about the Rhodes Scholarship Kenya, a postgraduate scholarship from a friend who was a beneficiary of the scholarship. Though he hesitated at first, he decided to check the scholarship board website.
Daniel said upon finding out on the websites that he met all the requirement to be chosen, he decided to apply. To his greatest luck, he was awarded the scholarship to study his masters at Oxford University.
Now he has obtained his Master of Science(MSC) in Energy Systems with a distinction from the Oxford University. He shared the achievement on his twitter with photos from his graduation.

Daniel expressed his gratitude to everyone who contributed to his success especially the Rhodes Scholar foundation who sponsored the degree.
”I am so grateful to everyone who has been an integral part of the journey especially @rhodestrust who funded my studies,” he added.
Daniel said he looks forward to shaping a brighter future for the planet. He is currently studying Engineering Science for his doctorate degree at the Oxford University.
