A brilliant young boy named Herbert Abugbilla Adelwin has achieved remarkable success, emerging as the winner in a national mathematics competition in Ghana and earning a scholarship valued at $75,000 to pursue higher education.

Herbert's Story and How He Did It
Herbert’s journey to recognition began at Mankranso Senior High School, where he built a strong academic foundation and developed a passion for mathematics and science.
His brilliance became nationally visible during the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) 2025, one of the most competitive academic contests in West Africa.
Alongside his teammates, Herbert led his school to a historic achievement, reaching the semi-final stage for the very first time. In the process, they defeated top-tier Category A schools, proving their academic strength against more established institutions.
Their performance earned the school the prestigious Dr. Kwaku Mensa-Bonsu Award for the Most Impressive Run, recognizing the least-endowed school that advanced the furthest in the competition.
Building on this excellence, Herbert distinguished himself further by emerging top among 28 applicants for a highly competitive scholarship at the Accra College of Medicine.
The award, valued at $75,000, covers a full six-year medical program, giving him the opportunity to pursue a career in medicine.
