Now, she has secured a role with a top investment firm in London immediately after graduation.
Adedamola’s journey is remarkable as transitioning from a Nigerian university to one of the world’s top business schools, and then into a global investment firm, highlights both her intellectual growth and career advancement.
Adedamola's Story and How She Did It
Adedamola’s journey began in 2012 at Ekiti State University, where she studied Economics and graduated in 2016. At the time, her goal was just to pursue further education locally. However, as she stepped into the corporate world, her ambitions began to evolve.
A year after graduation, she realized she wanted more than her initial plan. As she gained experience in her career, her interests shifted toward International Finance. By 2020, she had even documented her aspiration to pursue that path.
But her journey was not linear. Through reflection, exposure, and growth, her goals changed again. Instead of following a fixed plan, she allowed her experiences to shape her direction.
Eventually, she chose to pursue an MBA, a decision influenced by the people she met, the knowledge she gained, and her desire to make a broader impact.

She secured a role with British International Investment in London, joining the Fund Solutions team. This opportunity places her at the heart of global finance, where she will contribute to investment strategies and economic development initiatives.
