A determined young lady named Yasmine N François has achieved an exceptional feat after clinching the highly competitive UK Chevening Award to study in the United Kingdom.
Yasmine N François who used to work as a shopkeeper for her mom while growing narrated that she got inspired to embark on her exceptional journey while working for her mom as a shopkeeper.
Announcing her outstanding through her LinkedIn, she said her journey started in her mother’s shop. “It started here; in my mother’s little shop where I would shopkeep in her absence, using the time to do my homework, study, and complete projects. It was one of the places that I unconsciously became a dreamer; dreaming of a better future, which required that I prioritise my education,” she narrated.
She noted that although education might not be the main factor that moves people from poverty to wealth, she is however convinced that “education would be the key to opening some very important doors for me – which it has.”
