A brilliant young lady named Munira Musa Ladan has won the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to study for her master’s degree at the Queen Mary University of London in the United Kingdom.
Munira Ladan is a Nigerian lady who bagged her bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Future University in Egypt. She has earned the exceptional feat of winning a Chevening full scholarship to study for her master’s.
Munira shared her achievement on Linkedin celebrating her win of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship for her masters. She stated that she will be joining the Wolfson Institute of Population Health to study for the Master of Global Public Health and Policy.
She added that she will be studying for a master’s at the Prestigious Queen Mary University of London a Russel Group Research-Intensive University.

Munira mentioned that her research would focus on examining the social factors leading to inequalities and identifying effective strategies and policies to reduce maternal mortality and address health inequities.
She added that she is choosing that focus because globally, maternal mortality is on the rise and is being managed by economically advanced countries but developing countries like Nigeria remain behind.
Munira stated that her dream is to transform Nigeria into a country where women and children do not succumb to avoidable deaths. She aims to achieve this by offering improved solutions to all healthcare issues.
