A brilliant young man named Chijoke Ukomadu has won 20 different awards as one of the best graduating students at Afe Babalola University in Nigeria after bagging a Law degree with first-class honors.
Chijoke obtained a bachelor’s degree in Law with outstanding first-class honors from Afe Babalola University Nigeria. He won a total of twenty awards for his outstanding performance at the university.
He shared his achievement of graduating from the university on Linkedin stating that he is happy to have obtained a first-class Law degree with different recognition and awards while at the university.
”I am elated to announce that I just obtained a first-class Law degree from Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti with over 20 awards and recognitions in the course of my stay in ABUAD,” he said.
Chijoke stated that he graduated top four percent of his class. Amongst some of the awards he received were the Afe Babalola Prize for academic excellence, Best Student in Commercial Law, and Best Student in the Law of Commercial Transaction.
He also won the Best Student in the Introduction to Legal Practice, Best Male Student, Model Student of the Year, and was recognized as the Most Distinguished Student of the Year by the Students’ Representative Council.
Chijoke said reflecting on his journey in the university, he is proud to have served as the president of his faculty, and also to have led the establishment of grass-root collaborations between the Ekiti State government and the Ministry of Justice to promote access to justice for Nigerians.
While in the university, Chijoke said he won the NNPC Nigeria and Total Nigeria scholarships to support his education. He stated that despite working hard to maintain excellent grades, he also balanced various extracurricular activities and gained professional legal skills.
Chijoke said he is enthusiastic about the journey ahead and looks forward to a fulfilling global career where he would provide much impact.
