This young man graduated from UNILAG with 4.91 first-class degree in Banking and certification as Chartered Accountant

A brilliant young Nigerian man named Sheu Oluokun has achieved remarkable success after graduating from the University of Lagos with a First-Class degree in Banking and Finance, earning an outstanding CGPA of 4.91.

What makes his achievement even more remarkable is that he also earned his certification as a Chartered Accountant while graduating in the top 1% of his class.

Sheu's Story and How He Did It

Sheu’s journey began in 2019, and from day one, he pursued excellence relentlessly. In 2022, while in his second year, he enrolled in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) professional exams.

The journey was grueling, with sleepless nights, endless studying, and immense pressure, but his determination never wavered.

“There were moments I honestly wanted to quit… but I kept showing up. I kept working. I kept believing. Today, I can boldly say that every sleepless night paid off,” Sheu reflected on LinkedIn.

And in 2024, he passed his exams with all-around success and was certified as a chartered accountant. In addition to academic and professional success, Sheu actively participated in competitions and student initiatives.
