A brilliant Nigerian man named Aisha Ojikutu has bagged a master’s degree in Data Analytics with distinction at the University of Huddersfield, in the United Kingdom.
Aisha obtained her Master of Science in Data Analytics at the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom with distinction, an achievement she shared on her Linkedin.
She said the degree was a perfect extension of her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. Aisha bagged her bachelor’s degree at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria.
She stated that her master’s degree allowed her to implement her knowledge in mathematics and bridge theory and practice in profound ways.

Aisha said from practically exploring mathematical variations for understanding the spread and dispersion of data to using matrices to handle large datasets, and performing linear algebra, she was able to implement her knowledge as a mathematician.
She also stated that she learned how to represent data and model parameters in machine learning facilitating efficient computations and optimizations for the degree.
She said she also implemented set theory to understand the foundational language for dealing with collections of objects, and operations like union, intersection, and difference, which are crucial for database operations, querying, and managing data relationships.
Aisha said she also used probability for making predictions and inferences about populations from samples and understanding statistical methods, such as hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and Bayesian inference.
She said she also gained a more practical understanding in statistics, joins in SQL, and the inner workings of machine learning algorithms through numerical analysis and fuzzy logic from MATLAB.
She added that generally, her picture of mathematics finally came to reality because mathematics is the architect of basically everything she does as an analyst, and her knowledge of mathematics made her life and work easier in every aspect.
Aisha said he has a positive outlook on future opportunities where her skills can be applied and developed further.
