A young Nigerian man named Marcus Akinmade has bagged an accounting degree from Lagos State University (LASU), Nigeria with a 4.76/5.00 cumulative grade point.He also received his chattered accountant certificate the same day.
Marcus Akinmade graduated with a first-class honor of 4.76 cumulative grade points from the Department of Accounting at Lagos state university, Nigeria.
He was the second-best graduating student in the department and the fourth-best graduating student in the faculty of management sciences, at LASU.
Marcus shared a celebratory post on his Twitter page, saying he attained his bachelor’s degree and chattered accountant status on the same day.

“BSC Accounting, First Class Honours from Lagos State University with a CGPA attained of 4.76, attained my chartered accountant status on the same day as well. God is good,’’ he shared.
He expressed his gratitude to his parents, colleagues, and lecturers for their unwavering support and commitment.
“Although I am not experiencing the ecstasy I expected, profound gratitude permeates me. I attribute this accomplishment to God, my dedication, the unwavering support of my parents, and the commitment of my friends and lecturers,” he said.
