A young Nigerian man named Ayobami John has bagged a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria.
John obtained his bachelor of science degree in Geology at the University of Ibadan. He took to Twitter with pictures of him and his mother to celebrate his achievement of graduating as a Geologist.
”Mama I made it! Bsc. Geology, University of Ibadan secured,” he wrote. John mentioned that the four years he spent in the university were one of Stress and Sweat, Learning and Capacity Building, and Toils and Foils.
He stated that he actively chased a career in Geology and Design which summarized the years spent into one of growth.Â

Ayobami said in a LinkedIn post that when he first enrolled in the university, he was filled with uncertainties and fears and was unsure of what the future held but he overcame them.Â
While at the university, Ayobami was an active student. He was the team lead of the NAPE Basin Evaluation Competition and led a team to the semifinals of the Imperial Barrel Award 2023.
He stated that he also got certified as a product designer, and grew in several rounds of personal development. He said he is grateful for the gift of people around him who fostered this growth.
Ayobami expressed his gratitude to his Family, Friends, Mentors, Teachers, Neighbors, and everyone who contributed to his success.
