A young Nigerian man named Feranmi Olowookere who scored 8As in his WAEC examination has bagged a Chemical Engineering degree with a 4.86 first class honors from the University of Lagos in Nigeria.
His remarkable academic achievement earned him a scholarship award from an organization based in the United States.
Feranmi bagged his bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the university of Lagos with a 4.86/5.00 Cumulative Grade Point. He has always been a high achiever in his academic pursuit, Graduating from high school, Feranmi had 8 distinctions out of 9 subjects in his senior secondary school certificate examinations.

Feranmi shared his achievement on twitter posting his graduation picture along side his WAEC (West African Examination Council) and Engineering undergraduate results with a ‘ how it started vs How its going quote.
”BSc. (First Class Hons.) Chemical Engineering 4.86/5.00 CGPA 9 awards and scholarships. Convoking today!!! It can only be you God,” he tweeted.
He also mentioned that his accomplishment was recognized which earned him 9 awards from the institution and a scholarship award from a United states based organization to further his studies.

Feranmi also mentioned that his active involvement in his academics that earned him good grades did not affect his social life. he mentioned that he was able to acquire some skills while in school
”Just to clarify, I did a whole lot of other things and picked up many skills while in school (AIESEC, product design, going out and having fun, networking, leadership roles, church work, etc). So no, you don’t have to abandon your social life for good grades,” he said.
Feranmi is currently studying for his doctorate degree in chemical engineering in the University of Alabama in the United States while working as a graduate research assistant in the same university.
