A young Nigerian Pharmacist, Olabimpe Olayinka has emerged as the 2021 best graduating student in Masters at the University of Ibadan, South-West Nigeria.

Olabimpe Olayinka had in 2016, graduated with a First Class Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in Pharmacognosy and Clinical Pharmacy from the University of Ibadan. She proceeded to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital to serve as an Intern of Clinical Pharmacist.
Upon completion of her Internship, she enrolled for a Master’s Degree at the University of Ibadan’s Faculty of Pharmacy.
Olabimpe expressed her happiness to have emerged the best graduation student of the University of Ibadan despite the turbulent academic sessions that witnessed the pandemic and a lot of strike actions by the Academic staff.

In a Linkedin post, she said she got a miracle saying that her convocation of the 16th of November 2021 came with a surprise as she collected the award of being the best student in the University.
“I am pleased to announce that I have completed my Master’s degree in Pharmacognosy at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. My convocation came with a huge and remarkable surprise worthy of celebration as I received my award on the 16th of November, 2021.
“This makes me excited because the journey which started in May 2018 ended with an awesome achievement in November 2021,” she wrote on Linkedin.
The study of Pharmacy entails the clinical health science that links medical science with chemistry and is charged with the responsibility of discovery, production, disposal, safe and effective use, and control of medications and drugs.
As a First Class Clinical Pharmacist, Olabimpe can perfectly discover, produce, administer the effective use of medications and drugs to every human being around the world. She thanked God for seeing her through all her academic journey as well as her family and lecturers.
