NerdzFactory Youth Sustainable Enterprise Challenge Details:
The YSEC program is a transformative entrepreneurship initiative designed to unleash the potential of young individuals, equipping them with the expertise, skills, and mindset necessary to launch and scale successful, sustainable businesses.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS, 2023), small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) contribute 48% of Nigeria’s GDP and employ over 84% of the workforce. Lagos, as the commercial hub, accounts for a substantial share of this.
Our aim is to cultivate a new wave of innovative, socially responsible entrepreneurs who will drive economic growth, create jobs, and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
