The 2022 Alx/Udacity Tech Scholarships for Young Africans has opened applications for qualified young ones interested in learning in-demand tech skills.
The alx/Udacity tech scholarship is dedicated to transforming the lives of 60,000 African youth, providing in-demand tech skills development coupled with a connected community and experienced network to launch a global technology career.
ALX offers job-ready training in the tech fields employers need most. ALX, in partnership with The ROOM, is brought to you by the organisation that leads African Leadership Academy, African Leadership University, and Anzisha Prize Foundation. Udacity, Inc. is an American for-profit educational organization founded by Sebastian Thrun, David Stavens, and Mike Sokolsky offering massive open online courses. According to Thrun, the origin of the name Udacity comes from the company’s desire to be “audacious for you, the student”.
This programme is for those who are excited about the digital disruptions taking place across the globe and are looking to gain specialized skills that will help you break into a high income, globally-relevant tech career.
ALX is on a mission to secure 2 million jobs for young Africans by 2030 on the in-demand areas of tech, finance, sales, administration, and entrepreneurship.
