Brilliant Nigerian man bags first class Law degree, 100% grade masters at UK university

AFRICA | A brilliant Nigerian man named Ayansola Oluwaseun, a first-class law graduate from Obafemi Awolowo University(OAUA) has successfully obtained his master’s degree with distinction at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.

In 2013, Oluwaseun began his undergraduate studies at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, where he earned a Bachelor’s of Law with first-class honors. Additionally, he graduated as the best graduating student of his class in 2018.

He proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, where he qualified as a barrister and solicitor of Law in Nigeria in 2019, after which he moved to the United Kingdom for his postgraduate studies through the Alex Deno Foundation Scholarship in 2022. 

A year later, Oluwasuen earned his a master’s degree in Law and Finance (MLF), earning distinction grades in all of his major courses. ”On Saturday, 4 November 2023, I graduated from the University of Oxford with a distinction in MSc in Law and Finance (MLF),” he shared on LinkedIn.

Oluwaseun’s journey as a master’s student at the University of Oxford was challenging as he worked with three terms of Oxford Law and mathematics at the same time.

He attributed his success to the generous support of his mentors and sponsors. In another post, Oluwaseun mentioned that he has benefited from one form of scholarship or the other, starting from his secondary school days through university, Law School, and now the University of Oxford.

He feels obligated and would reciprocate. Oluwaseun anticipates and expects greater achievements in the future, and the act of paying it forward.
