The identical twins named Emefa Apaloo and Emenyo Apaloo graduated as Medical Doctors from the University of Ghana Medical School in the same set.
Dr. Emefa Apaloo studied Dentistry, having a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental surgery (Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery). Dental Medicine, according to Wikipedia is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity (the mouth), commonly in the dentition (development and arrangement of teeth) as well as the oral mucosa, and of adjacent and related structures and tissues, particularly in associated maxillofacial (jaw and facial) area.
Announcing their scholarly feat on Linkedin, one of their colleague and well wisher, Edward Asare posted their image to celebrate their success.
He wrote: “Twin sisters graduate as doctors from the University of Ghana Medical School. Well done Dr Emefa Apaloo and Dr. Emenyo Apaloo. They are proud old students of Achimota School”
