Eligibility Requirements for Konan University Scholarship 2025
To be considered for the Konan University Scholarship, you must:
- have a bachelor’s degree to apply for a master’s program and a master’s degree for a PhD program.
- demonstrate proficiency in either English or Japanese.
- be an international applicant seeking admission to Konan University.

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;
- Application form (RESEARCH STUDENTS) & Field of Study and Research Plan
- Recommendation letter (Non-copy): It is obliged to be signed by dean of your university you currently admitted and addressed to the president of Konan University.
- Copy of the passport holder’s information page
- Academic transcript at your bachelor course (Non-copy).
- Also a transcript at your master course in case you apply to the doctoral course.
- Certificate of Graduation or Expected Graduation (Non-copy)
- Abstract of thesis
- Certificate of your language proficiency of Japanese or English – TOEFL, IELTS, JLPT are acceptable (In case you don’t have the certificate of them, please consult the KIEC).

To apply for the Konan University MEXT Scholarship, interested and qualified candidates should;
