AMERICA| A brilliant Lady bags bachelors degree at UK university, becomes the first graduate in her family
A brilliant lady named Nicky Lufuanadio-Longo has bagged a bachelor’s degree with honors at Brunel University in the United Kingdom.
Nicky obtained her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Accounting with a second class upper division grade at Brunel University in the United Kingdom. She shared the achievement on Linkedin with gratitude.
She mentioned that the achievement made her the first-ever university graduate in her family. In addition to her accomplishment, Nicky also earned a 14-month Work Placement.

Nicky stated that the academic journey was a long and challenging road. She said as the first person in her family to attend university, she felt a significant responsibility to complete this degree and set a new educational record for her family.
Hearing her name being called an Economics and Accounting graduate was an overwhelmingly proud moment and she still can not get over the moment.
Nicky said with the knowledge and skills she acquired over the past four years, she is determined to continue striving to become the best version of herself and end the year stronger than how she started.
Nicky expressed her gratitude toher mentor during her work placement at PKF, and also to Maninder Panaser, whom she describes as one of the best professors at Brunel University.
She said Maninder has been a pivotal figure throughout her time at university and was always there to answer her countless questions after lectures. Nicky said these inspiring women influenced her journey in ways that she could not be more grateful for.
Nicky said she is also grateful to God for using the academic journey to use this time to mature, and strengthen her character and mind to prepare her for future responsibilities. She said because of this reason, she is humbled by her award and everything it represents.
