IDG National Girls Leadership Essay Competition Details:
The IDG 2025 National Girls Leadership Essay Competition is a partnership initiative involving the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, the United Nations Population Fund, and the Federal Ministry of Education.
The National Girls Essay Competition seeks to identify and develop young Nigerians between 10 and 20 years for development, mentorship, and leadership training in celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child 2025.
The programme is themed: “The girl I am, the change I lead: Girls on the frontlines of crisis”, with the topic as follows;
