18-year-old Triplet graduates high school with 4.00GPA, earns acceptance to US university

AMERICA | 18-year-old triplets from Georgia, Kendall, Kolby, and Sydney Belcher,  have graduated from Ola High School, McDonough, with exceptional achievements.

The Belcher triplets each graduated summa cum laude, maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout their high school years. Their school and proud parents celebrated the success of these outstanding students.

The triplets did not just excel in high school; they were also dual-enrolled in college courses, allowing them to start university with nearly a year’s worth of credits.

Their parents, Cathey and Cornelius Belcher, instilled a love for learning early on. By age three, the triplets were already immersed in educational activities. Sydney, the eldest by a few minutes, began reading at age four, and her brothers quickly followed suit.

“I’m very happy and proud of them. They just got better and better each year. Because we started with them so young, working hard and doing their best became second nature,” Cathy said.

As they embark on their college journeys, the triplets are pursuing different fields of study. The three stated that they will be pursuing their masters degree in different courses.

Kendall is attending Gordon State College to major in Business Administration, while Sydney and Kolby are both enrolled at Georgia State University, with Sydney pursuing a degree in Nursing and Kolby majoring in Business Administration.

The triplets credit not only their parents but also their teachers and community for their academic success. “We didn’t raise them on our own. We’ve had so much help along the way. We taught them to always give back because others have given back to them,” Cathy said.

The Belcher triplets are a shining example of the power of early education, hard work, and community support. As they transition to college, they carry forward a strong foundation of academic excellence and a commitment to making a positive impact in their chosen fields.
