A brilliant young lady named Aminat Lawal graduated from the University of Ibadan with a first-class Law degree 42 years after her father graduated and was denied the first-class grade at the same university.

Aminat obtained her bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Ibadan with remarkable first-class honors. She shared her achievement on Linkedin dedicating the success and degree to her father.

She mentioned that her father graduated from the University of Ibadan 42 years ago with a second-class upper grade instead of a first-class grade because he was denied it. ”42 years ago, my father graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Second Class (Upper) having been denied a first class he had earned,” she said.

Aminat stated that she spent eight years in the university and it was challenging. She stated that she had to stay at home for a year and a half before resuming because her admission was deferred.
