AMERICA | 22 years old, Alexis Blanton has achieved a remarkable academic milestone, graduating with honors from Prairie View A&M University in Texas, United States.
She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Magna Cum Laude distinction, i.e great honors.
Celebrating her achievement on Instagram, Alexis expressed gratitude and faith, referencing a Bible verse. “With God by my side, I will not fail,” she said.
She reflected on her four-year journey at the university, highlighting academic success, leadership roles, and professional experiences that shaped her path.

Throughout her time at Prairie View A&M University, Alexis maintained honors roll status every semester, was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honor society, and served as an active member of Panther Advisor Leaders (PALS), mentoring fellow students.
Beyond academics, Alexis gained valuable professional experience by interning with State Farm Careers and working as a Licensed Insurance Representative—a testament to her ability to balance academics and career growth.
After graduation, Alexis earned admission into Southern University Law Center, where she will pursue a Doctor of Law (JD) degree.
Alexis said her goal is to become a lawyer, leveraging the skills and knowledge she has acquired to make a meaningful impact in the legal field.
In another story, a brilliant 27-year-old Lady from Sierra Leone, Jemie Fodia Fofanah, has graduated from the New York University Law School after being sponsored by her parents with a tremendous amount of money.
Jemie’s mother, Naasu Genevieve Fofanah, expressed how happy she was upon hearing the news that her daughter passed the DC Bar examination, certifying her as a Lawyer in the United States.
Naasu Genevieve expressed her happiness to see her daughter succeed through her social media handles, she wrote: “This evening my daughter called and said: ” Mummy, I passed the DC Bar” Maybe one day she will describe my reactions because I can’t put them into words!! I am still floating in a tsunami of joy and pride.”
