25-year-old Amina Yonis has bagged a doctorate degree in Cancer Cell Biology at the University College London, United States. She was the youngest in her research group.
Amina Yonis bagged her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Kings College London with an honors grade. She then proceeded to bag a Masters of Research (MRes) degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences with a distinction grade at Imperial College London.
Amina remained consistent with her academic achievements, pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Roehampton with a distinction grade. Additionally, she attained a Masters’s degree in Research Leadership in Education and Education Policy Analysis from Sheffield Hallam University.
She has recently accomplished a remarkable feat, earning her doctorate degree in Cancer Cell Biology from the University College London. At a remarkably young age of 25, she has already achieved an impressive collection of five different university degrees.

Amina shared her achievements on her Twitter page, stating that she was the youngest in her research group. “Graduating from UCL with a Ph.D. in Cancer Cell Biology at 25 years old, I did that! I was the youngest in my research group,” she tweeted.
She attributed her success to her parents for being able to keep an academic home, mentioning that her other siblings all graduated in respected fields.
She said her parents were all very active & present, especially in high school, and also taught her how to be able to balance her playtime with study time which helped her to feel a sense of reward and taught her how to have a good work-life balance.
