AFRICA | A brilliant African Lady bags master’s degree in Criminology at Oxford University, celebrates achievements.
A brilliant African lady named Ewuradjoa Sharon has bagged a master’s degree at the prestigious Oxford University in the United Kingdom.
Sharon obtained her Master of Science degree in Criminology at the University of Oxford, an achievement she celebrated on her LinkedIn stating that she graduated from one of shared her journey the world’s leading institutions of higher learning in the United Kingdom.
She shared her struggles from when she left her father’s house in Tema Community 5, Ghana till when she started her studies at the university.

Sharon said she earned the degree amidst different struggles and challenges. She mentioned that after she resumed, she got depressed because her grades were not matching the efforts she was putting into her studies.
She stated that aside from the depression that she was dealing with, she also started gaining weight, which made her uncomfortable. However, with the help of God, Sharon said she overcame her challenges and graduated from the university.
She expressed her gratitude to her family, from her brother who stood by her side, To her sister who stood on midnight calls while she studied, and the senior colleagues who read and supervised her bulky essays.
Sharon said she is also thankful for the intellectual conversations in criminology classes, the high standard research expectations that pushed her beyond my limits, and the supervisors and tutors who were patient with her capacity and supported her through Oxford.
She also thanked her pastor who watched over me, the family who welcomed her in London, her parents who prayed for her, her scholarship cohort that motivated her, and friends who genuinely rooted for her.
She said she has now been refined for greatness and humility at the same time and she is driven to fully embrace her potential and pursue new opportunities with tenacity and courage.
Sharon said she is excited to see what the future holds for her as she continues to develop their skills and follow herpath.
