A brilliant Nigerian-American woman named Toluwalase Oladitan has bagged a Biomedical Engineering degree with honors at Harvard University and is on track to earn a master’s degree.
Toluwalase Oladitan bagged her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and Engineering at Harvard University, Boston in the United States. She graduated from the university with an honors grade.
Toluwalase also earned a minor degree in African Studies and Citation in Yoruba, her native language. ”I officially became an Alumna of Harvard University, graduating Cum Laude with an A.B. in Biomedical Engineering (with Honors!), a Secondary in African Studies and Citation in Yoruba, my native language,” she wrote on Linkedin.
After her graduation, she worked as a senior associate at Amgen, a globally recognized biotechnology company with a strong focus on advancing healthcare through innovative biologic solutions.

Toluwalase has now earned acceptance to study for her master’s degree at Harvard University. She shared on LinkedIn that she will be studying for her master’s in business administration (MBA).
She stated that she is glad to have worked at Amgen for three years and excited that she got to work with some of the most talented professionals in her industry who share her passion for helping patients get access to quality medicine.
Toluwalase added that she sees it as an opportunity and privilege to begin her professional career at a global company. She said she will carry the lessons learned throughout her future endeavors.
In another story, a brilliant Nigerian-American lady named Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna who won the best student award at Elmont Memorial High School, United States has bagged a first-class Biomedical Engineering degree at Harvard University.
Augusta made history in 2017 when she was awarded overall best graduating student of Elmont Memorial High School with a 101.64 grade point average. Her brilliant performance earned her acceptance into 12 universities including the eight Ivy League Schools.
She was accepted into top universities in the United States like Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, New York University, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
