AFRICA | A brilliant Nigerian Lady bags masters degree with distinction at UK university, celebrates achievements.
A brilliant Nigerian lady, Ideal Franklin-Attama, graduated with distinction in Masters of Biomedical Laboratory Science from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom.
Taking to Twitter to celebrate her achievement, Ideal expressed immense pride and gratitude to God, reflecting on the challenges she faced and overcame during her academic journey.
”God did it and I made it. A big DISTINCTION in MSc Biomedical Laboratory science. All I can say is WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST. This is one of the hardest journeys I have had to embark on with no idea of how I will scale through, but I finished and finished even strong,” she said.

Ideal also shared that her journey was not without its struggles. She faced moments of doubt and exhaustion but drew strength from a small note she placed on her mirror. The daily reminder of her target served as a motivation to keep pushing forward despite the odds.
Ideal began her academic journey at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria, where she earned her undergraduate degree before moving to the UK for her postgraduate studies.
Reflecting on her success, Ideal acknowledged the effort it took to excel in a demanding field while adapting to a new academic environment. She credits her resilience and faith for helping her achieve this significant milestone.
In a similar story, a brilliant Nigerian Lady, Roboh Broke graduated outstandingly from Nottingham Trent University in the UK with a Master’s Degree after two years of study in the institution.
Roboh Broke started her higher educational study in Nigeria after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Afe Babalola University, South-West, Nigeria. A few years after her Bachelor’s degree, her parent supported her to earn a Master’s studies in the United Kingdom.
She enrolled at Nottingham Trent University in England for a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology and a few years later, she made her parent proud by bagging a distinction.
